4 out of 5 starsThe wood wicks are very pretty. And it has been burning impressively slowly given how large the flames are. Unfortunately the scent isn't very strong. I get neither sandalwood nor rose from it, only a mild soapiness.

5 out of 5 starsI am in love with my new candles. I bought a large magnolia blossom with wood wicks, and it smells amazing. I also purchased a small tin candle which smells beautiful too. Wood wicks are my favorite. Very happy with my purchase.

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful large candle, smells great. Came with samples. Will definitely purchase again. Note that the wicks because they're wood create a lot of smoke. If you are sensitive to that not for you.

How long do your candles burn?
Our Burlap Line typically gets between 40 and 60 hours of burn time! 20 ounce Apothecary Jars burn for around 140 hours and we see around 175 hours of burn time for our 30 ounce Apothecary Jars! Travel tins usually last between 10-12 hours!
How do I trim my wicks?
You can purchase special scissors to trim your wicks to 1/4" but we typically wait for there to be a sizable 'knob' on the top of the wick and just use our fingers to break it off. It usually leaves the perfect amount of wick left over. Remember to keep your double-wicked Apothecary candle wicks trimmed to similar heights!
On our travel tins, we usually wait until the wood wick has cooled and there is a noticeable split between the sides of the wick. we pinch it with our fingers and make it nice, clean and straight again.
Always trim wicks when they're cool! And remember to always keep candle free of debris and to dispose of your wick trimmings in the proper manner to prevent fire.
How do I get the longest life out of my candle?
We always suggest allowing your candle to melt along the entire surface from edge to edge before extinguished it the first time. Candles have a 'memory' and will have a really hard time burning anything outside the burn pool of your first burn, so make it count and give yourself about 1-2 hours for this first burn to get the best and longest life out of your candle. Also, keep your candle away from drafts and humidity for the longest burn.
Trimming your wicks properly will also aid in a long candle life (see above wick trimming advice)
